TATTOOS
Lacky began his career in 1980 as a traveling tattoo artist. For over 6 years, he and his life partner Moni traveled throughout Europe, often staying with motorcycle clubs. This time was very enlightening for them, as they met many interesting people and learned a lot about the art of tattooing in different countries.
"I would like to thank everyone I had the opportunity to stay with at this point. It was a very exciting and beautiful time," said Lacky.
In 1988, they opened their first studio in Switzerland at Kirchstrasse 19 in Grenchen.
In 1996, an opportunity arose at Kirchstrasse 76, and they decided to move there.
In 1997, they opened the new studio at Kirchstrasse 76, where they worked until their emigration.
In 2007, they began thinking about the future as they were getting older. However, the idea of traveling never left them throughout this time.
In 2019, they decided to embark on their journey again. Even with such a decision made, they couldn't just leave; there were many considerations.
In 2020, they planned to sell everything and start their journey, but then the Coronavirus hit, and everything came to a sudden halt.
In 2021, they created a new website to maintain an online presence during their travels. They also set up pages on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn for this purpose.
In 2024, the big journey finally began!
"It was a very nice time, and we felt comfortable in Grenchen for a while."
However, they sporadically return to Switzerland to work as guest tattoo artists with a colleague. You can make appointments for their time in Switzerland through Facebook or email.
If you want to know more about them, just follow them on social media. This way, you'll always know what they're up to, where they are, when they'll be in Switzerland, and with whom they'll be collaborating!
